About this deal

Overall, being made of solid plastic, it seems to be a fairly durable camera. And it doesn’t have many moving elements. I’ve been using my Instax Mini 8 for four years and haven’t had any problems. Accessories When I first saw the announcement I got very excited, expecting big things after 5 years. Upon closer inspection, however, the updates are underwhelming. But who cares when those new colors are so cool! If you’re a newbie, then by all means, follow the camera’s suggested setting. But in certain situations, you can choose to set the brightness yourself if you want a brighter or darker outcome. get it wrong, exposure levels and colours can look off. Worst of all, you’ve wasted one of those expensive films. When you shoot, the film comes out from the top of the camera. It takes about 1.5 to 2 minutes to develop. Sometimes I find that the colors get deeper after a little extra time.

The new Instax Mini 9 launched with five new colors that are all really nice, especially the Cobalt Blue (hello Santa!). Do not cover the two windows located beside the flash, as doing so will prevent your camera from assessing the surrounding light and suggesting the correct setting for your photo. You will see a yellow mark on your camera when you open the door. You will see the same on the film. Just place the two signs together, and your film is in its place. Then close the door and start shooting. Naturally there’s a small mirror provided adjacent to the lens on this Fuji, thus allowing for users to perfect their ‘selfie’ game. But beyond that, the camera provides a selfie mode of sorts by advising users to pull out the front edge of the lens after powering the camera on. The Instax Mini 8 has a hand strap, which is not the best quality. If you use it often, it can get worn out. But it does its job. It’s nice that you don’t need a lens cap. When turned off, the camera’s body protects the lens, and a cover closes over it. The Fujifilm Instax Mini series use a special film size. The image size is 2.4 x 1.8 inches (6.2 x 4.6 cm). And with the frame, it’s 3.4 x 2.1 inches (8.6 x 5.4 cm). The short answer is literally everyone. It’s most popular among young people and children. But my parents and grandparents also enjoy using mine. And sometimes couples buy it for weddings, making long-lasting memories on the spot! The camera is cheap, but it has some disadvantages. For example, instant film is quite expensive. You cannot avoid this if you shoot with an instant film camera. But you can buy Instax film in bulk, which makes it more affordable.

In 2009, Fujifilm dropped the Instax series, which changed the instant camera market. Their uniqueness is that they print what you shoot immediately. And this also means that you cannot replicate the images. When you want to take a self portrait, Instax Mini’s self-portrait timer is a great feature. Here’s how to get started taking instant selfies:The print in question is ejected from the top of the camera almost as soon as the flash has fired – and here it always fires, even in strong sunlight, as there appears to be no way to disable it, as we occasionally can on higher end instant models. Science has found that the instant print doesn’t develop any faster if you ‘shake it like a Polaroid picture’, so we have to wait the typical 90 seconds for the finished result. Incidentally, the Instax Mini 11’s effective flash range is up to a very fair 2.7 metres, with a 6.5 second wait between flashes. To be honest, an instant camera isn’t one for rapid-fire use, so that sort of delay is scarcely going to be an issue. But the manual switch is missing because the 11 has a fully automatic exposure system. This won’t let you override the camera’s suggestions and decide which mode you want to choose.
