About this deal

Eventually, at some point in Sequence 4 or 5, I realised you have to do the “Evie head”, “Jacob head” or “Skull” icons on the map. There's many really cool missions and overall graphics are really nice, especially night time and rain, that atmosphere is amazing.

Once you get the hang of the game which might take a few days (till then it seems very stupid) then this game can not be stopped playing on.

London, 1868 - The Industrial Revolution fattens the purses of the privileged while the working class struggles to survive – until an Assassin emerges from the underworld to rally to their defense.

I remember nothing about where in the story I was and want to start over fresh but I looked through all the menus and I can't seem to find either a new game or delete data option. One last note is that there are microtransactions in the game, but you can easily ignore them if you choose too and they only act as a method to get better gear and skills faster, but they do not spoil the game in any way nor are they intrusive. Many mission cutscenes give you very little context, and the mission prompt often feels like it has nothing to do with the preceding cutscene.

The combat is well balanced, the open world is fun,the sandbox approach is way more polished and transportation is a lot improved(horse carriages, the most awesome AC2 set piece now implemented in the open world) and rope launcher is a time saver and it also doesn't restrict you to enjoy the old building climbing. That’s that really, there are no twists or turns, it’s a rather smooth and straight forward affair for Jacob and Evie during which you’ll never really feel a sense of danger or a risk of failure. This is a relatively enjoyable endeavour, save for a couple of poor ones that require a rinse-and-repeat of various specific moves and a trophy for smashing 5000 pieces of scenery in a carriage, which feels like a waste of time. The story was simpler, less convoluted, than Unity (and most of the recent Assassin’s Creed games, actually) and I think was better for it.However, b y failing to capitalise on what was easily among Assassin’s Creed ’s most promising settings, Victorian-era London, Syndicate exposed a series going through the motions, in need of a reboot that it would receive in its following entry, Origins . I wonder if Syndicate has cross-progression, so I can get the game on PS4 and play it to complete the Districts. As you explore its contrasting boroughs, you glean some sense of what powered this great city in the 19th century. If there was better pacing, and more thought put into key moments this could have been a much stronger story.
