However, if you enjoy having your spine tingled and the hairs on the back of your neck raised, then this is a book for you. Ob Kinder ab 10 Jahren hier schon Verständnis gerade für die Auflösung aufbringen können kann ich grade nicht so einschätzen, ich würde es deshalb eher erst ab 12 Jahren empfehlen.My favourite character was Tilly Higgins because she was desperate to support her mother when her sister and father run away abroad. It was such a pleasure to meet you both, and I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally you ran everything. Warning – do not read this book if you have a nervous disposition; it is a seriously spooky ghost story.

But Tilly wasn’t going to let know that she was worried, and she skated right out to the middle of the lake. She was in the right place at the right time, and it seemed that the hall had trouble holding on to staff. Tilly Higgins is a really headstrong girl who stands up for herself and doesn’t let anyone walk over her. Set in Victorian England, Frost Hollow Hall is an intricate ghost story that is both captivating and surprisingly deep.Emma Carroll's descriptive prose is perfect in portraying Frost Hollow Hall as an intimidating yet beautiful place, full of mystery and dark secrets. Compassionate Tilly knows she has to help him and despite the problems in her own family she manages to get a post as a maid at Frost Hollow Hall.
