This is definitely a palette you might use if you’re in the mood to play with blending and placement, perhaps not so much for a slap dash application since the pigmentation is so strong but my goodness are these colours out of this world.

I was really eager to try out my Huda Topaz Obsessions eyeshadow palette when I got it in Autumn, as a couple of years ago my friends Molly, Lora and Sophie purchased me a Huda Obsessions palette for my birthday – knowing it had been a formula that I had wanted to try for a while. It has 4 duo-chrome shimmers and 5 creamy matte shadows, making it ideal for creating a regal, elegant look. They are undoubtedly pretty, but personally I just wish that they did end up looking a bit more different on the eye. For a thinner line, use less pressure and for a bolder line, go for more pressure or simply layer up until you achieve your desired definition. The Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions eye makeup palette opens up possibilities for you to create incredible variety in your eye makeup.The metallics do swatch well but when applied with a brush they aren’t the most pigmented shades, I find I do need to layer these up to get a more noticeable metallic finish, otherwise they lean towards more of a softer metallic sheen. The Pro Filt’r Primer helps prevent your eyeshadow from fading or creasing so your makeup will go the distance. The Obsessions range is quite broad now they have some more colourful neutrals such as the red toned Mauve (IMHO, it’s not mauve! Each Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette has nine eye-catching mattes and shimmers with intense pigmentation and a smooth, blendable texture. If you’re looking for a really small palette for travelling, then the Huda might suit, but for me the Colourpop palette is better, has more variety in shades, is still small and lightweight for travel and best of all – it’s cheaper.All in all, I would give this palette 9 over 10 and would recommend it to you because after trying it, I haven’t stopped using it.
